This opticalCON powerMONITOR is a cost-saving, purpose-built measurement (monitoring) device for professional fiber optic broadcast, audio and video applications.
By monitoring the attenuation of up to 4 transmission channels simultaneously the powerMONITOR informs "on air" and at first sight about the fiber optic quality status and simplifies troubleshooting work. Programmable alarm signals control the power budget of the fiber optic transmission lines at all times. As the user is supported with clear status info, potential problems can be identified early and maintenance intervals can be optimized.
The powerMONITOR is available in 19'' panels or mobile breakout boxes.

The Neutrik opticalCON interconnecting systems are used for special optical fiber cabling like HD broadcast cameras, digital signal and for network applications in pro audio, broadcast, touring, or rental applications.
The Neutrik optical0CON increases the reliability and maximizes the uptime for fiber optic connection. The system is based on a standard optical LC-Duplex connection. However, the opticalCON improves this original design to ensure a safe and rugged connection. It enables up to four copper wires to run power or data signals through. A special SMPTE-version1 has been optimized for broadcast applications, which provides an additional ground-shell contact.
Sliding Patch Panels in their basic form are supplied unloaded ready for you to install the adapter of your choice. Can also come pre-loaded complete with the adapters and splice management kit.
